How to make money online with Google Adsense (2015)

Do you own a Gmail account? Do you have a blog/website, Youtube channel or other allowed online eligibilities that are approved by Google to let you put their ads on your site.

Here are a few questions to begin with Google Adsense:

  • Do you have a website/blog/youtube channel?
  • Are you at least 18 years old?
  • Does your site comply with Google Adsense program policies?
  • Has your site been active for at least six months (mostly China and India)?
  • Do you produce original content and receive good traffic?
When you're ready, you can submit an application and Google will process and get back to you after reviewing.

Once you are approved for Adsense, you can place the ads by inserting AdSense code on your blog/website. By these ads you will earn money by CPC or CPM ads.  Read more about those here: https://support.google.com/adsense#topic=3373519

Sign up for Google AdSense:

AdSense supports Google's products such as Blogger and YouTube to allow you to earn money through your blog/channel.
For Blogger: You can create a free blog on BlogSpot: https://www.blogger.com with your Gmail account, remember to post original content with at least 500 words, get users coming to your site, at least 10 posts, wait several months and then apply for Adsense when you're ready. In the Blogger panel, you can see the "Earnings Tab" where you can start to sign up there right away.

For YouTube: Do you know Youtube beauty guru such as Michelle Phan? Do you love to create & record videos? You can earn money online with Adsense through your original videos on Youtube. First, go to https://www.youtube.com/ , log in with Gmail account and create a channel and start uploading original videos that you have created. You can link your Youtube account with Adsense to start monetize your content/videos. Read more here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72866?hl=en

You can also earn money with Adsense with your WordPress Blog, your own hosted domain site or through other blogging community such as Hubspot (read more here: http://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/how-to-make-the-most-money-career).

Remember that your content on those methods should be original as well. If you have a self-hosted domain, remember to wait several months to one year before applying as it is likely that Google prefers long-time domain.

What to do if your Adsense application is rejected?

There's no surprise that many people are rejected by Google Adsense, there are many reasons behind that  but mostly because you don't have the sufficient and/or original content or even traffic that they require or your site is too "young" (a couple of months old with non-impressed traffic)...

Make sure to read their policies before applying. And if you fail, don't worry, wait for more months, when you are ready to make more original content and traffic, get back to them for review.
