How to do great marketing for your online store/shop


First, start with a page on Facebook, even you already have a self-hosted site (or a Shopify site) on your own, it is advisory to have a Facebook page!

Here are some marketing online  strategies for you to consider:


  • Improve your content: Write relevant topics and write interesting content that can engage your audiences and start to build your brand of products.
  • Enable social sharing. Once they like the content, they tend to share it with other people they know, so put social media buttons on your site. Remember that you should be the first to share it :)
  • Make use of Facebook: Facebook helps you stay in touch closely with your customers. Approach them in a personal way, read their comments, messages, complaints.... Please them with promotion programs (even small ones), telling them inspiring stories, and share your own thoughts with your customers.
  • You can also leave some budget to run ads on Facebook to let people know more about your brand.
  • Run some viral content on Facebook, Youtube, Soundcloud, Pinterest/Instagram Hashtags, Vine (Twitter) to engage more audineces on different social media channels.
  • Once you have enough audiences, build a email marketing campaign to stay in touch more with them about your site/shop. 
  • Last but not least, if you have more money to spend and need constant sales, why not try Google Adwords, set some bidding budget for some important keywords that lead to sales on Google search engine or Google Display Network, the results may come out great.
